Welcome back to our waterproofing mini-series! After completing the application of one layer of EBG and two layers of LF41, our basement waterproofing system is almost complete. Let’s see how we start applying the final layers of the system:

What a wonderful color isn’t it? EDS is a hahne Germany imported product with high flexibility, crack resistance and impeccable waterproofing characteristics. It is immune to temperature changes, so it can be used perfectly in combination with floor heating. It contains quartz sand that increases the adhesive strength of the product.

01 准备EDS

Preparing EDS

作为地下室防水系统的产品，EDS产品内含两个重要的组成部分。乳液和石英砂，这些元素很好的结合在一起可以实现产品的完美应用。

As the other products in the basement waterproofing system, EDS has also two components that need to be combined. One element is the liquid emulsion and the second it’s the blue pigmented quartz sand. These elements need to be well mixed together to achieve the right application consistency.

02 EDS的应用施工

EDS Application

有两种施工操作方法。第一种你可以使用批刮抹板，这是德国建筑工人首选操作工具，可以更好的应用产品。第二种方法，如视频所示，使用滚筒。为此，建议添加一些水以方便更好的涂刷。这两种方法都可以达到预期的结果。

There are two methods of application that can be used. The first one is to use a molding plate. It is the method preferred by German construction workers and offers more control over the product. The second method, as seen in the video, is using a roller. To do so it is suggested to add some water to easily apply the material. Both methods can achieve the desired result.

确保所有施工区域都被均匀的涂刷。

Make sure to cover all the surfaces and create an even layer.

现在我们的EDS已经施工完成，我们需要等着它干透，到时候我们将进行第二次EDS涂刷。

Now that the first coating of EDS is done, we need to wait for it dry. We will come back next week to apply a second layer!
